ADOM Beta@Steam

For ADOM players on Steam we provide beta access to new versions of ADOM.  The steps below will allow you to access beta versions. But beware: Beta versions might be unstable or incomplete and really only are suited for people who want to taste the latest and hottest development. Use them at your own risk and please them only if you don't mind finding bugs. Please also do not complain about unstable beta versions - they are meant to be tested. We greatly appreciate feedback, bug reports and requests of enhancements as this allows us to improve the experience for everyone!

To access beta versions of ADOM you need to take the following steps:

1. Start Steam and log in.
2. Go to your games library.
3. Right-click on the ADOM entry.
4. Select the bottom entry of the context menu ("Eigenschaften" in Germany, probably something like "Properties" in English, etc.).
5. Go to the "Betas" tab in the properties window.
6. Select "beta - Public beta test" as the game version you want to use.
7. Close the window with the button in the bottom right corner.
8. Start ADOM - the beta version will be downloaded and ready for play.

Please remember to switch back to the stable branch when you are done with beta testing!

And remember to report any problems you might find.
